Mid-Term Write-In Event

Are you struggling with your essays? Do you need help on resumes and cover letters? Come write with us! The Oxford Writing Center will hold a Mid-Term Write-In event on Oct. 23, 1:00-5:00p.m. at Pierce 117.

This event features hands-on consultation from Oxford writing consultants, directors of the Writing Center and Oxford Career Services, research librarians, as well as faculty who teach writing and other subjects that involve writing.

Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Fall Guest Lecture & Workshop at the Writing Center

We're honored to have Dr. Christine Cozzens to speak to our faculty, staff, and consultants on Friday, the 21st, 2:30-4:30, at the Oxford Writing Center (Pierce 117). Dr. Cozzens will talk about writing centr practice and disciplinary collaborations in liberal arts curricula.

This event is sponsored by a mini grant from Emory's CFDE.

Fall Welcome Party at the Writing Center

We're throwing off a party on Friday, Sept. 14th, 3:30-4:30. Come join us and get to know our math and writing consultants! Refreshments and music provided.

Oxford writing consultants to present at the IWCA conference!

Eva Rothernburg, Rachel Silver, Kasey Cervantes, and Dr. Belle Wang will be presenting about writing center practice and theory at the 2018 IWCA (International Writing Center Association) conference. 


Students, we wish you good luck in this finals week! Don’t hesitate to come write with us if you have projects that are due soon. We are still open and will be closed on May9th.

Come work on your academic and professional projects at the writing center on Tuesday, April 17, noon-5:00, at Pierce 117. Writing consultants, research librarians, faculty, director of the Oxford Writing Center, and coordinator of Oxford Counseling & Career Services will be on hand to help you! There will be coffee, tea, and snacks.
